About UsWith our help, this exploration can be beneficial to these students’ future success in college, their majors, and careers down the road. According to Gettysburg college, we will spend a third of our lives working, but the problem is most high schoolers and underclassmen in college don’t know what they want to do in life, which leads to higher dropout rates. We aim to reduce this and increase representation of minority and underrepresented groups in college academics and professions by offering engaging and exciting talks into majors, minors, pre-professional focuses, careers, and personal advice |

Why We Started EOFA
Everyone deserve the opportunities to explore majors and careers but for underrepresented groups of people this may seem unattainable as they have no mentors to look up to. We want to change that and give every group of people an equal opportunity in college and beyond.
Mission
- To cultivate a higher caliber of CWRU undergraduate global citizens who through their interactions with the K-12 community spread their knowledge and personal experiences about college academics to students in local area school systems.
- To disburse valuable knowledge regarding college academics, including majors, minors, fields of study, pre professional studies, careers, and such to K-12 students.
- Undergraduate students involved would also cultivate greater connection to these students and serve as short term or long term mentors to students potentially interested in the undergraduate’s fields of study or pre professional focus.
- To reduce the divide between disenfranchised students (minorities, women, LGBTQ+) and others by allowing them equal access to information regarding college academics, potentially to spur interest in currently underrepresented fields of study.
